It looks like Twitter has a new member of the blue tick gang: South London rapper Smiler.

Smiler signed with Warner Bros Records in September 2011, and his connection to a big label probably contributed to him getting the tick. But he wasn’t the only one. Clement Marfo’s account was also verified today so we think since Twitter are being so generous with these ticks, they can just stick one on our page whilst they’re at it.
And we know some of you are sitting there thinking “I don’t care about a blue tick”, but we all know that’s a lie. Being verified on Twitter is better than being knighted for some of you.
