Dereck Chisora could face a lifetime boxing ban following his bust up with David Haye in Munich on 18 February.
In case you were living under a rock for the last 48 hours and didn’t know, during a press conference after Chisora’s defeat to Vitali Klitschko, the Zimbabwean born boxer slandered Haye in regards to his fight with Wladamir Klitschko last year. Haye, who is known to have a mouth reminiscent of the great Ali, angrily responded and this led to a messy brawl.
When asked if there was a possibility that Chisora could face a life ban, General Secretary of the British Boxing Board Robert Smith told Radio 5 live
The board have many powers – they can fine, they can suspend and they can withdraw a licence.
We think these men should keep all this fighting in the ring in future, that’s of course assuming that they want to keep their jobs.
